Cabinet and Casework
Typical projects might include natural hardwood solids such as walnut, cherry, oak, alder or maple as well as exotic wood veneers such as ebony, zebrawood, rosewood and a variety of burls, fiddleback or quilted figure. A rich assortment of details such as turned or fluted columns, and carved elements can be incorporated. Finally, the finishing process will bring your project to life. Special finishing steps might include shading and glazing to add additional depth and a richer detailed appearance, and gold or silver leaf or burnished water gilding to lend an old world antique appearance.

Custom Furniture
Why settle for a “catalog piece” of furniture for that special area in your home? A custom piece of furniture makes a statement and is often the centerpiece of a design, whether for a dining room, bedroom, gallery or home office. We can develop a custom design in a wide variety of styles and finish treatments. Or, bring us your ideas and we will collaborate with you to create a project. Either way, the result will be a custom piece of furniture that is a perfect fit for your lifestyle and design aesthetic. We use domestic and imported hardwoods and exotic wood solids and veneers to add that extra-special appearance that will take your project from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Antique Furniture Repair, Repurpose and Refinishing
Not every project starts with new furniture or cabinets. Many times our customers merely want to repair or repurpose an existing antique piece. Often times this can be much more economical than replacing with new, as well as preserving and extending the life of a family heirloom.
A typical repair and refinishing project might include:
- Fix loose or broken parts
- Repair dents, gouges and scratches
- Remove surface damage from liquids, etc.
- Spot repair flaking or peeling old finish
More extensive work might include:
- Strip all existing finish
- Modify existing design/construction for a new purpose
- Apply new veneers
- Apply new stain or other color treatments
- Apply new clear topcoat
All work is done to maintain the original integrity of your antiques
